When you share your vision and passion, you may be surprised how infectious it can be. Most Cypress Point short-term missionaries find that getting financial support is easier than they expected. There are many ways to help you raise funds to offset the costs of your upcoming mission trip and we provide both individual and group methods to help you, as well as a number of optional personal and public ideas to help you along the way.
Every year, the CPC Mission team hosts the Mission Banquet Gala at Pebble Creek Golf Course. The night is filled with formal attire, a fantastic 3-course meal, speakers, entertainment, dancing, and fellowship. Each team member is expected to sell at least one table worth of tickets.
If you or your support team desire to donate items, services, experiences, or something of value that can be auctioned off in a silent auction format, the proceeds from your items will be credited to your mission account.
Commonly baskets are both donated by CPC members or missionaries and put in to a single raffle. At the Gala, tickets will be sold and attendees who purchase tickets can put those tickets in each items basket and winners will be drawn for each item. The entire amount raised will be split between the general mission fund and credits to missionaries accounts who donated baskets.
Having a big sale, on-site celebrity, or other event? Be sure to announce it so everybody knows and gets excited about it.
